The story follows Vidhi (Triptii Dimri) and Nilesh (Siddhant Chaturvedi), two young individuals from different castes whose relationship faces societal resistance.
The film’s release was initially slated for 2023 but faced delays due to certification hurdles. After undergoing 16 major edits, including changes to politically sensitive dialogues, Dhadak 2 secured a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
